BEIJING, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Harbin Pharm. Group Sanjing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., one of China's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, announced Sunday that its net profit in the third quarter rose 12.49 percent year on year to 80.1 million yuan (11.7million U.S. dollars).

Total assets of the northeastern Heilongjiang Province-based firm increased 9.3 percent year on year to 3.19 billion yuan, it said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The company attributed the net profit rise to its sound business operating situation and reduced inventory.
