Butter flower sculptureButter flower sculpture is a unique sculpture art form. As you can see from the name, the material for sculpture is butter, the sculpture skill is first originated from Tibet, the idea is even in winter, and believers can sacrifice flowers to Buddha. In 1594, it spread to Taer lamasery, and received much improvement. On the 15th of the first month, Taer lamasery put up a butter flower sculpture show.
Duixiu Duixiu is a combination of embroidery and relief sculpture. It is developed from the art of embroidery. First, portrait of Buddha is painted on the base-cloth, then pieces of different cloth are fixed on the base cloth, also some part is stuffed, giving an impression of relief sculpture.
Qinghai huaer Qinghai is the home of huaer songs. Huaer is love song. Usually it is sing in the field or hills. It is not supposed to be sung in the village of at homes for its embarrassing contents. Usually, Huaer is supposed to be overheard, however, each year during local festivals, in the places along the Huangshui river valley, huaer performances are put up.

Tangka Tangka is Tibetan, meaning scrolled painting on cloth. Tangka is the major part of Regong art. Tangka painting is known for its delicacy, simple style, and fine stroke, strong contrast of color, vivid image and majestic splendors.
WeisangSang in Tibetan means “to purify”. The Tibetans assume that dragon in the sacred lake dislikes pollution of the lake water, so digging of stones and dirt are forbidden near the mouth of springs, weisang symbolizes this idea, the smoke of pine tree leaves, azalea, grains are supposed to purify the air and spirit, and in this way gods will approach people bringing good luck.
