BEIJING, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping Tuesday urged Communist Party members and government officials to exert more efforts to learn and implement the Scientific Outlook on Development.
Xi, also member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Political Bureau, made the remarks during a meeting on better implementation of the theory.
He said after the first and second round of the theory implementation work, progress has been made in solving problems, institutional innovation and Party's working style building.
He urged Party members and government officials to better deal with social contradiction and disputes and further strengthen the social security work.
Xi also pointed out the third-round learning would mainly be held at towns, villages, communities, hospitals, and primary and secondary schools.
About 1.22 million grass-roots Party organizations with nearly 40 million members will join the third round learning work.
