HONG KONG, May 18 (Xinhua) -- HKSAR Chief Executive Donald Tsang visited the Mong Kok corrosive liquid attack site on Sunday to learn about progress of police investigation into the case.

Tsang told the press that the corrosive liquid attack, which injured about 30 people Saturday afternoon, happened at the same pedestrian area as a similar case last December.

The police are analyzing all data from the two cases to seek more clues, and are offering 300,000 HK dollars as reward for information leading to the arrest of the culprit.

Tsang urged the district council to start installing closed- circuit televisions in the area as soon as possible to enhance surveillance and facilitate investigations should another incident occur.

He also appealed to the public to contact police if they have any information about the case
