JINAN, Shandong Province, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Olympic champion He Chong of Guangdong province won the gold medal at the men's three meters springboard final at the ongoing China's 11th National Games here on Saturday.

    Thwarted at the third diving, He obtained 13 full marks in the other five attempts, which helped him gain a total of 566.55 points. He, who qualified for the final with the highest score, had won the title of men's 3m springboard at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

    Qin Kai from Shaanxi, Beijing Olympic champion of men's 3m synchronized springboard, won the silver medal with 543.7 points. Li Shixin from the Chinese Army took the third place with 522.3 points.
