Morning,19th May, on the “Flowers in May” Art Performance hosted by Xueyuan Road Subdistrict Office, that two brilliant international students from Argentina and Korean gave an Chinese comedy “Qiao Pi Hua” made the audiences cannot stop laughing. Miss Liu, an audience on site said, “They are so great, it is not that easy to perform Chinese comedy that fluently and humorously, saying that our traditional culture is the most attractive.”

The acrobatics performance by representative of University of Science and Technology Beijing Patrick from Rwanda also let the audiences’ eyes bright, “His performance is really a feast to eyes, it makes me feel like I had gone to foreign lands, he did very good job in hat throwing and ball dropping, those what international masters perform on global stage, I like his performance”
On the day of the show, besides the dance “Huan Qing Luo Gu” , the opera “Mao’s Poem——Plum Blossom”and, the Yu opera “ Sit down, Mama” those familiar programs performed by community residents, there were also Urheen performance “Sai Ma” by students of University of Science and Technology Beijing, the dance “Qiao Yang Ge” and cross talk “The First Time On Guard” by students of Beijing City University and, duet for flute “Pao Han Chua”by students of China Agriculture University”.With laughing, applause and cheering, the entire show is constant climax. I became not only the get-together for university students and feast of culture for community residents, but also demonstration of the beautiful Xueyuan Road and organic integration of campus culture, enterprise culture, community culture.
Xuyuan Road District is of rich resources, and is where colleges, universities and enterprises lie in, including China Agriculture University and Beijing Beijing Language and Culture University and so on 9 colleges and universities, there are ten thousand international students from almost hundred nations in all these universities. what those international student s have in common is that they fall in love with Chinese culture and join in the district’s cultural construction and cultural activities after coming to China. On the day of the show, not only are there faces of different countries, but also De-Rui Song from Norway shouldering program’s host, the bright and handsome boy brought audiences joy and happiness with his humor and rudimentary Chinese.
In future, the Xueyuan Road District will increase culture festival’s theme, comprehensiveness and internation on the basic of “ Xueyuan Road Culture Festival” to promote the fully integrated development of campus culture, enterprise culture, community culture and establish brand culture activity with impact so as to make it important goal of improving regional culture competitiveness, and participating in the competition of entire city and district’s mainstream culture.
