If you plan to study in China, do you know what documents need to be taken with, below is the suggestion for you
A. Visa
Foreign students should principally hold general passport and “X” or “F” visa to go through university registration process. One who study in China for more than 6 months should apply to China visa authorities in foreign countries for “X” visa, and one who comes to study in China for 6 months or less should apply to China visa authorities in foreign countries for “F” visa. The applicants need to prepare the following documents when applying for visa.
Visa Applicant Form for Study in China (JW201 or JW202)
Admission Letter
Foreigners Physical Examination Record
The students should take the above mentioned documents and register for the university. One who holds other types of passport, visa or doesn’t take the above mentioned documents cannot register for the university, neither can he apply for Resident Permit
Applicants who come to study in China for short-term programs can apply for “F” group visa with letter of invitation given by authorized units.
All foreigners should apply for Residence Permit for Foreigners in 30 days upon their arrival in China.
B. Physical Examination
The foreign students must go to the health and quarantine departments within the time limit to have their Foreigners Physical Examination Record confirmed. Those who have no Foreigners Physical Examination Record must take physical examination at the local health and quarantine departments. The applicant who is diagnosed to be diseases carriers who are not allowed to enter in China according to Chinese laws should return home immediately at their own expenses.
C. Insurance
Students coming to study in China at their own expenses should buy medical insurance and accident insurance. You can buy insurance in your own country or buy it in China.
