Chinese Government Scholarships
1.       Applicants shall consult and submit the application form to the Embassy of Consulate of China in the home country.
2.       A few universities in Zhejiang Province has altogether 50 scholarship quota specified by MOE in Year 2010, and ZSTU is one of them. Only Master’s degree and Doctor’s degree candidates are eligible to apply directly to ZSTU. For more information, please see http://en.csc.edu.cn/Laihua/.
50 scholarships are available in Zhejiang Province.
Qualified applicants will be strongly recommended by ZSTU to the provincial educational department.

Bachelor’s degree candidates
—Non-Chinese citizens
 
—Abide by the laws, regulations and rules of the People’s Republic of China and ZSTU
 
—Have a good reputation, respect teachers and fellow students
 
—Both physically and mentally healthy
 
— At least hold a high school diploma, and have a competitive academic record in high school or undergraduate education
— Have a valid HSK certificate at or above Band 4 (for those who apply for the programs instructed in Chinese language)
— Under the age of 30 if applying for Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship    
NOT win any other scholarships in China
Master’s or doctor’s degree candidates
— At least hold a bachelor’s degree (for master’s degree candidates); at least hold a master’s degree (for doctor’s degree candidates)
— Have a competitive academic record in undergraduate or graduate education
— Two letters of recommendation by professors or associate professors from universities candidates graduate
— Have a valid HSK certificate at or above Band 6 (for those who apply for the programs instructed in Chinese language)
— Under the age of 35 for Master’s candidates and 40 for Doctor’s candidates for Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarships
