Wansheng Stone Forest
Wansheng Stone Forest is the second largest stone forest and the most antique one in China, located at Nantian Township, Wansheng District, about 89 kilometers from Chongqing City. Wansheng Stone Forest covers an area of more than 10 square kilometers, classified into karst physiognomy, varies in the shapes of its stones that look like sword peak, drum, tower, mushroom and bud, espeically in forms of birds and beasts that bring the forest the name of “A Natural Stone Zoo”. The main attractions here are Tianmen Limestone Cave, Goddess Peak, Giant Fan Rock, Thread-like Sky, and so on. The Unicorn and The Seawter Level Line are called Four Wonders of Wansheng Stone forest.
 
Linyin Stone Forest
Linyin Stone Forest covers an area of 1.21 square kilometers and represents a typical Karst landscape. This area is unique because there are numerous underground caves beneath the fantastic stone forest. There are over 400 stone peaks, columns, and stalagmites and the tallest is over 36 meters and all take on different forms: They look like animals (pig, monkey, bear, turtle, etc.), people and many other things. Here we can also find the site of the Linyin College, an ancient institution of learning.
 
Nidang Stone Forest
Nidang Stone Forest is a provincial-level scenic spot and is also the native place of General He Yingqin. Stone Forest District concentrates the Fengpowan, Daijiaba and gurries. During 2 million years it has formed thin-like limestone and been cut and polished by nature into the cone-shaped leaf-like Stone Forest. Concentrated and scattered stone forests peak forest blend here. Among them Fangjia stone forest gets unique landscape. Sanqu Stone Forest
The total area of the scenic resort covers 27.58 square kilometers. The whole resort is consisted of three parts, the Sanqushan Hill, the Xiaogushan Hill and the Dagushan Hill. The stone forest is 10 kilometers far from the north urban area of Changshan County. The stones are interveined with lianas, which show us a wonderful and capriccioso nature. The Sanqushan Hill is located at the east. It is the mother hill of Quzhou. In this scenic area, the main spots are the Zhaogongyan Cave and the Sanqu Goddess. They are well-known for their elegance and delicacy. In the middle of the resort, there lies the Xiaogushan Hill, which is characterized in oddness, steepness and beauty. The stone of monkey watching the sea is quite well-known in southeast China. The Dagushan Hill lies at the west of the stone forest. It has features of sinuosity, deepness, quietness, and grandness. In the Dagushan Hill scenic spot, the most famous ones are the Long Corridor of Sanqu, the Ziteng Gorge and the Immortal Cave, etc.
