Liang-Zhu Cultural Park
Liang-Zhu Cultural Park is a theme park with the Liang Shanbo Temple as the central building and the love story as its theme. Right at the entrance of the park is a large colour fresco, on which hundreds of flowers are bursting into bloom with a rainbow arching in the background, and the butterflies, symbols of the wish that "true lovers can join together at last", are flying toward the unfathomable blue firmament. These symbols of love, it seems, are inviting visitors to step into this holy palace of love.
 
Heshun in Shanxi Provice
The seventh day of the seventh lunar month is the day when the legendary Cowherd and Weaving Maid meet each other for their once-a-year tryst over a bridge formed by sympathetic magpies over the Milky Way. According to folklore expert research, the age-old myth took place in Tianhe Mountain in Heshun, Shanxi Provice. There are picturesque sceneries with comfortable climate.
 
Fairy Maiden Lake
The nature scenery of the Fairy Maiden Lake is plain and graceful with characteristics of quiet, elegant, unusual and imposing. The love story of Dong Yong and seven fairies took place here. The lake is so clean that one can see to the bottom. Virgin forests are mysterious and attractive. The whole scenic spot is linked by common mountains and rivers, lakes and islands.
 
Looking from Lijiang Old Town in the south which is 15 kilometers away, the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon laying in the clouds, hence, the name Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Widespread legends and myths of the Naxi ethnic minority and the unclimbed Shanzidou are all important attractive spots for those who come to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
 
Broken Bridge
The Broken Bridge lies at the eastern end of the White Causeway. The Broken Bridge is the most famous bridge at the West Lake. Ts name is seen in the folktale of Madam White Snake, where the touching and sad love story of Lady White and Xu Xian begins when they meet at the Broken Bridge and borrow the umbrella as their love-promise.
 
A long time ago, a young hunter pursued a deer and brought it to bay on a cliff above the sea. When he aimed his arrow at his quarry, the deer turned her head toward him and suddenly transformed into a beautiful maiden. Dropping his bow, the startled hunter immediately fell in love with the doe-eyed beauty. This is the legend of Luhuitou, as told by the Li people.
 
Kanas Lake, located in the valley of the Altai, Xinjiang, is a famous natural resort. Colors of Kanas Lake vary in different seasons and weather. Its beauty and mysterious folk tales attract many tourists every year. The love story of a shepherd and the princess took place here.
 
 
Meng Jiangnv Temple
The Meng Jiangnv Temple stands on the Phoenix Hill at Wangfu Village, Shanhaiguan District. In the middle of the front temple is a clay sculpture of the gloomy Meng Jiangnv in plain clothes. A couplet was carved on both Columns: "When Qin Shihuang had the Great Wail built, much resentment and sadness were over spilt. Meng Jiangnv will live forever and never die. Stone carvings will remember her fame high. "
 
Ashima
Among all the scenic spots in the Stone Forest, the rock of Ashima in the Small Stone Forest is the most famous. The rock of Ashima resembles a girl of the Sani people, a branch of the Yi ethnic group, with a kerchief on her head, and a bamboo basket on her back. Ashima is a symbol of the hope for freedom to choose who to marry, and a happy life for the Sani people.
 
With beautiful clouds, mist and strange-shaped pine trees, Sanqing Mountain is a fairyland far from the hustle and bustle of city life.  Piles of clouds give Sanqing Mountain marvelous scenery at sun rise and set: they becomesplendidly red, as if half the sky were on fire. The legend said that the goddess of the mountain fell in love with a python.
