Ordinary post
It is applied in mainland China.
Actual expense = parcel charges + RMB 3 of registered fee + insurance fee + RMB 0.5 receipt fee
Each 500 grams is a calculating unit and a package of less than 500 grams will be calculated as 500 grams.
 
Express package
It is applied in Mainland China
Actual expense = parcel charges × 0.7 + RMB 3 of registered fee + insurance fee + RMB 0.5 receipt fee
First 1,000 grams is a calculating unit with additional 500 grams as another calculating unit. A package of less than 500 grams will be calculated as 500 grams.
 
EMS
It is a kind of door-to-door delivery and applied in Mainland China. The package within 500 grams is RMB 20 and the amount of each additional 500 grams is different according to different regions: RMB 6 in Shandong, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Liaoning, Henan, Jilin, Anhui, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, Shanxi, Shanghai, Hubei, Zhejiang, Gansu, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Sichuan, Chongqing, RMB 9 in Ningxia, Qinghai, Guangdong, Guizhou, Guangxi, Yunnan, Hainan, and RMB 15 in other provinces. A package of less than 500 grams will be calculated as 500 grams.
 
Express company
Its dispatching time is the same as EMS. Since February 6, 2006, every 1,000 grams is RMB 4 for the packages to Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang. Every 1,000 grams is RMB 8 for the packages to Guangdong, Anhui, Henan, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning.
