Send the related documentation and information directly to the Shanghai office of Taikang Life Insurance in a pre-paid envelope.
Retain the related documentation and information, and receive the claim in person (at least once a month).
Documents that are required when making a claim:
An original copy of the insurance bill.
From a medical institution recognized and approved by our company, a bill for the medical treatment fee, a medical certificate and medical history.
Any other documentation or information related to confirmation of the nature, the reason, and the extent of damage of the insured accident.
The Speed of Claims Processing:
Once our company has received the application form for payment of the insurance sum, as well as the documents and information indicated above, the claimed amount will be paid to a special account within twenty working days, for all those cases that have been confirmed as qualifying for compensation. For those cases that have not been confirmed as qualifying for compensation, a letter will be sent to the applicant, informing them of refusal to provide the insurance sum.
Within 60 days of this company receiving the applicant's application form for payment of the insurance sum, as well the documents and information indicated above, for those cases which qualify for compensation, yet in which the sum for payment cannot be confirmed, then according to the documents and information that we have already, payment will be made of lowest for the smallest amount of the insurance sum that can be confirmed. When the company eventually confirms the amount of insurance money to be paid, it would will provide the corresponding amount.
Note: If the insured behaves different than the reality, If the actual behavior of the insured does not correspond to their claimed illness , then this company has the right to refuse part or all of the expenses for hospitalization and medical treatment
