Hourly fees
Such charge method is mainly directed against litigation cases. The money amount is calculated by the charge standard for the lawyer’s work and the lawyer’s working hours should be effective. Meanwhile, the charge standard depends on the lawyer’s service years, service ability and social reputation.

Flat Fees
Flat fees are charged by proceeding levers. Standardized with “Court of second instance being that of last instance”, the proceeding is divided into first instance and second instance. So the fee is charged in three periods, namely first instance period, second instance period and procedure period.

All-in fees
All-in fees mean fees are charged all at a time and won’t charge any other fees during the whole case. And the charging standard is a little bit higher than that in the first instance period by flat fees.

Contingency Fees
Contingency fees mean a few fees are charged before the judgment of a case, once the case wins, more fees will be charged.

Legal Advice Fees
As for legal advice service, there are two types of charge methods. One is a client pays fixed fees to the lawyer and the lawyer offers legal services for regular time, the other is a client pays for the lawyer’s effective working hours. Generally speaking, a Chinese law firm charges much high for a case involving foreign interests than a common domestic case.
