According to the report by Xinhua net, on the evening of 4th November, China embassy in America held meeting which announced that China support “100,000 Strong Initiative” put forward by America.

On that day , many people from American political circle and education circle attended the activity. On the Sino-American humanities negotiation held on this April, China expressed its support for "100,000 Strong Initiative” and promised to provide American students with more scholarship. So far the plan made much progress. China will take continuous measure to support the plan.

"100,000 Strong Initiative” was firstly put forward in 2009 by American president Obama. According to the plan, America will send 100, 000 students to study in China in 4 years. Both parties were were positive on the plan, and believed that it will become the enhancing force for Sino-American culture exchange.
