On 17th December, 2012, China Scholarship Council and China Development Bank held outstanding bounty programs awarding ceremony in Tsinghua University. Chief secretary Liu Jinghui of China Scholarship Council, governor Yuan Li of China Development Bank, vice president Yuan Si of Tsinghua University attended the ceremony together, and awarded 44 winners from Tsinghua University, Beijing University, Fudan University, Renmin University, Shandong University and University of International Business and Economic the “honor certificate of China Development Bank outstanding foreign student” and 10,000 RMB bounty per person.
In 2006, China Development Bank cooperated with China Scholarship Council and set up China Development Bank scholarship to fund outstand youths of developing nations’ coming to study in China, there were 50 foreign students get the fund so far. Since in 2011, China Development Bank provides foreign students studying economic, finance, management and so on with lump-sum award. China scholarship council took in charge of the project’s selection and assessment.
