Recently, the Ministry of Education starts the work of demonstration base of study in China. With 22 universities directly under the Ministry of Education and 16 local universities, Xidian University is chosen as China’s first demonstration base of study in China by the Ministry of Education.

 

The construction of demonstration base of study in China is the key part that the Ministry of Education carries out National Medium- and Long-Term Educational Reform and Development 2010-20 and Plan of Study in China. Universities in the list all have played an exemplary role in international students scale, structure, development speed, cultivation quality and the international student management service system.

 

In recent years, Xidian University has achieved in substantial development in the work of foreign students study in China. As the students scale expands unceasingly and cultivating levels develops, foreign students cover language students, academy preppy students, undergraduates and doctoral students with Chinese teaching language, undergraduates, graduates and doctoral graduates with English teaching language. Under the policy guidance of building international educational brand, Xidian University is the first to carry on the cultivation system of optimization in reforming electronic information for study in China, it has permitted by national education reform pilot project.

 

According to the information, the School of International Education improves foreign students’ cultivation quality by a set of measures like multilingual teaching, professional cultivation plan, and building practice base for foreign students. The measures make Xidian University become the acceptance university of Huawei Scholarship, Vietnam Government Scholarship, Yemen Government Scholarship, Saudi Government Scholarship and China’s Government Scholarship. And also has the independent admission qualification of China’s Government Scholarship.
