On 15th to 26th, China Education Exhibition was held successively in Brazil and Chile

On 15th to 26th, China Education Exhibition was held successively in Brazil and Chile, China Scholarship Council chief secretary Liu Jinghui led 160 educators from 76 well-known China universities and education institutes to have taken part in it. Brazilian Education Minister and chairman of Brazil higher education personnel promotion association, Chairman of Chile Science and Technology Research Council as well as ambassador of China Embassy in Brazil Li Jinzhang, ambassador of China embassy in Chile Yang Wanming and so on attended the activity.


Brazil plans to send 5,000 students to China in next 5 years. The education exhibition is aimed at further combining “Science goes beyond national borders” plan to attract more Brazilian students to study in China and enhance education cooperation with Latin American nation


In Chile, Liu Jinghui one behalf of China Scholarship Council singed “Chile Government Scholarship for Study in China Cooperation Memorandum” with National Science and Technology Council chairman Jose Miguel Aguilera, carrying out cooperation that Chile Government funds and sends students to study graduate degree programs in China.


Liu Jinghui together with the delegation were invited to visit Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile international cooperation bureau and Scholarship Bureau, two parties held profound discussion about Scholarship exchange between China and Chile.
