Having been approved by China Hanban. Central Conservatory of Music joined hands with Royal Academy of Music to establish the world first “Confucius institute for Music”, and held its first council in Beijing a few days ago. The institute was founded at Danish Royal Academy of Music, and teaching, promoting and showing Chinese musical culture will be its core contents.
The mission of Confucius institute for music is to opens credit courses related to Chinese musical culture for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Danish Central Conservatory of Music, to open music courses for citizens and primary and middle school students; to organize all forms of Chinese music themed exhibitions, lectures and performances; and will develop suitable Chinese musical education and reading materials for foreigners to learn on the basic of accumulating large teaching experience, as well as holding related Chinese culture exchange research activities.
