China Night or the Film China Night is a film event co-hosted by CCTV-6 and the organizing committee of Cannes International Film Festival. This year is the 5th time for China Night to shine in Cannes.

With the rapid growth of the Chinese film industry, there is increasing demand in foreign film markets for more Chinese films.The Film China Night at Cannes has become a platform for the international promotion of China's domestic productions.

Many famous Chinese stars such as Jackie Chan and Zhou Xun attended this film event which lighted up Cannes on May 17, 2012. This year's Film China Night includes a fireworks display and traditional Chinese dance performances.
