During the workshop, the teachers first introduced the significance of jiaozi in Chinese culture, its origin and the process of making jiaozi. After the explanation, the students started to make dough, roll out wrappers and make jiaozi under the teachers’ instructions. The students enjoyed the process and made jiaozi of various shapes and sizes. They could not wait to taste the fruits of their own labour. When they finally got to taste their own jiaozi, they were all excited. Students who were in the Chinese classes expressed their feelings in Chinese, saying “Delicious! Excellent!”
