Fletcher primary school in American Orange Country is the freshman of immersion Chinese language teaching and became the second school carrying out this kind of teaching methods in Orange Country. Chinese president Zhong Jiaxin said that the Chinese class is opened for students from other school areas, one who is interested in can fill in an application when it is open in March. Bergson primary school is another public school which adapts immersion Chinese teaching in Southern orange. Zhong Jiaxin stated that the funds for Chinese language class in Fletch primary school mainly are at school district’s expenses, and it is suggested not to be funded at student parents’ donations.so far there are25 pupils in total including those from Kindergarten and first-years’ mixed class, less than a half of which are from school districts at Orange Country, and over than 1 out of 2 are from cities around Zhong Xinjia said that she took in charge of the plan when the districts received the responses from student parents. The school district thought it necessary to culture talents understanding other languages as soon as possible in order to 21st century’s economic globalization. The immersion Chinese language teaching is produced as Chinese language is most widely used language in the world, first two hours of Chinese language class is taught by Chinese teacher, and the another two hours’ is taught by different English teachers. Zhong Jiaxin said that the school district’s goal is that the immersion Chinese language teaching can be extended to junior and senior school. In terms of the current Chinese class, only two or three students are in families with mandarin speaking atmosphere，the rest of the students’ families speak mainly English. While simply through 4 months learning , the students can count from 1 to 100 in Chinese, some student can even reader Chinese Children’s books in Chinese, this is a big surprise to students parents, said Wang Shan.
