Homegrown drama Wo Tou Hui Guan, performed by the Beijing People's Art Theater, will start a new round of performances at the Capital Theater, after being staged nearly 100 times since 2009. Five of the best actors and actresses in China star in the play: actors He Bing, Yang Lixin and Pu Cunxin and actresses Song Dandan and Xu Fan.

The drama takes place one year before the peaceful liberation of Beijing in a courtyard called "Wo Tou Hui Guan" in the south of Beijing. There, several Beijing locals experienced joys and sorrows, hope and desperation across three seasons - summer, autumn and winter.

Super-Organisms

The Cafa Art Museum is hosting the first experimental art biennial entitled Super-Organism. On display are 52 sets of artworks of various media created by artists from more than 12 countries and regions.

The event includes not only exhibitions but also lectures and seminars to address the latest trends in contemporary artistic creations, according to museum director Wang Huangsheng.
