Confucius Institute at Laos National University opened second phase Northern Laos’ middle school
Chinese language teachers, 16 middle school teachers in Laos will accept 6 weeks’ training.
It is said the training class has 150 class hours in total, which contains fundamental class, speaking class, listening class, culture class and character class, the trainees who pass through the training examination will be recommended to
study in China after finish the training class, and they will come back to teach middle school students Chinese language.
The training class was held by Confucius Institute at Laos National University and all provinces’ education ministries. The first term training class was from December 2011 to August 2012, it had 20 trainees, 8 of which obtained the qualification to study in China.
So far the two countries have frequent exchange in aspects of politics, economics, culture, so talents knowing Chinese language are in great demand, localization of Chinese language teacher will promote the Chinese language teaching level in Laos and will make more Lao
