Trainees taking part in the seminar were from Auckland, Sydney, Frankfurt, Hamburg,  Stockholm, Edinburgh and Nottingham 7 courtiers’’ Confucius institutes The foreign presidents of Confucius institute, project managers and project administrators were included.

Programs of this session of seminar were Traditional Chinese Culture, Ancient Philosophy, Eastern and Western Culture Exchange, Shanghai History and Chinese foreign policy. Beside programs inside the Confucius institute class, there were many inspection programs arranged in the seminar, including folk culture in Wuzhen, Confucius temple sacrifice in Shanghai, Shanghai modern times architecture. Shanghai financial district and so on. During the seminar, it happened to meet the two top class sized exhibitions; one is the yuan dynasty blue and white porcelain exhibition and another is china song and yuan dynasty calligraphy exhibition, so the trainee will have the change to take part in, and see the blue and white porcelain, famous calligraphy and painting works and so on ancient Chinese top cultural relics.
