On 21st December, the so called “End of the World” , saw story of Rome recourring, hot gypsy dances, original Nroth Africa musics and so on. On that day, over hundred overseas students from Russia, Egpt, Korea, Brazil and so on gathered in Southwest Normal University, celegrating its 4th international exchange festival, enjoyed “feast on end of the world’ in a unique way.
On day of 21st ，the internatinal exchange festival art performance was held in Southwest Normal University of which students from over 20 nations showed their Chinese and their own countries’ culture characteristics with folk songs and dances.
At the activity, foreign students arranged comdy＂The New Archer and the Suns＂, gave magic show, brough South America’s latin dance and so on, in addition, they sung Chinese song “Friends” with Chinese students.
Leader of Southwest Normal University International Exchange and Cooperation Department Yao Huiquan said that he activity was to enhace university’s international exchange, to help international students improve their Chinese through personally involved culture experience and promote their understanding of Chinese culture and profession learning. He hoped that they could build international perspective in the evironment with culture diversity, adapt to campus life in China universities and became friendly meessagere spreading Chinese culture.
On June, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office founded Overseas Chinese Affairs Office Chinese Language Education Base in Northwest Normal Universty to carry out Chinese langauge educatioin.
