The fourth Thursday in November is the annual Thanksgiving Day in the west. On 21st afternoon, under the organization of the Qixiu community, several international students from Nantong University and the representatives of the community came together to the art interest group of Nantong elementary school , With the primary students there, they made the Thanksgiving card. By making cards, they showed their thanks to other people and the whole society.

Under the guidance of the teacher, they made the thanksgiving card with all their heart. Especially the 13 international students who come from Nantong university. The international students who come from Jordan, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Indian etc, following the teachers guidance with their full attention though there is language barrier between them and the teacher.

Their passions of study are even more than the primary students. “I love Nantong, and I appreciate

this second hometown with all my heart. “says Jasmin who come from Jordan.

 

Comparing with Jasmin, Lina、atricia、Laynia who come from Namibia may have deeper

feelings of gratitude to Nantong. Cause they are being supported by Huangyue ,the vice-chairman Of China industrial and commercial association who sponsored nearly 30 Namibia students to study abroad in China. The three international students sincerely said

that they want to send the thanksgiving card which are made by themselves to Mr. Huang.

 

The Secretary of the party committee in Qixiu community said that, the community will make an exhibition of the thanksgiving card which made by the children 、the international students and the representatives to make their love pass on to more people. After the exhibition, those cards will send by their owner to the people who they want to appreciate with all their heart.
