Yesterday, the” Foreign Students Sports in China---Sunshine Sports Culture Journey” in Hubei was held at Huazhong Agricultural University, Hundreds of foreign students coming from Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and other 11 Chinese universities took part the contest.

“Chinese Kong Fu is much harder than I have imaged.”, said by a junior Kazakhstan students studying Chinese language in Wuhan University，he has been in Chine for more than 4 years. In the “Flag Waving” performance of Wuhan University, he gave Chinese Kong Fu show in which he acted as the “Hero” fighting against a foreign student from Ghanaian even though he doesn’t know anything about Chinese Kong Fu. While the Drum Dancing performance given by Indonesian students in Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was even harder than the Chinese Kong Fu show, she usually beat the desk in her dorm with chopsticks through which to feel the rhythm before the start of completion

It is said that “Foreign Students Sports in China” was hosted by Ministry of Education of PRC together with other educational departments, the contest in Hubei province was hosted by provincial Education Department. Besides the traditional folk programmes and 3 VS 3 basketball competition held yesterday, the foreign students will give orienteering, body-form show, talent and skill demonstration and other competitions. The top five teams will be qualified to take part in the contests in Hubei, Sichuan and Chongqing on behalf of our province
