2012 is the year of Dragon in China and the dragon has a great significance. A presentation on Chinese dragon delivered by the teacher from CITCM made teachers and pupils understand the knowledge of Chinese dragon culture deeply. After that, teachers and pupils joined the Chinese dragon painting competition warmly and positively. They expressed their understandings of Chinese dragon through the designs and colors .The section of dance with dragons was the most wonderful. Led by CITCM teachers, pupils danced up the Chinese dragon. The first time for pupils dancing up the Chinese dragon made them extremely excited.

Ms Toni McSherry, the deputy head teacher of St Mary’s Bryanston Primary school mentioned: “It has been a fantastic day for the children at our school. The Dragon workshop has been a very good introduction to the Chinese culture, especially the Chinese dragon.”

The workshop received great success and favorable praise from teachers and pupils. After the workshop, St Mary’s Primary school booked the martial arts club and Chinese dance club.
