With the consistent development of Chinese economic, the China government scholarship students’ amount will continue growing. In order to show China government’s concern about international students, we decide to adjust living expenses of China government scholarship students. The concrete matters are notified as follows From 1st, Jan. 2008 on, the adjustment of living expenses standard for international students who studying in China on full China government scholarship has been made, the living expenses offered for bachelor degree and Chinese language students is 1400 Yuan per person per month, for master degree and general advanced study students is 1700 Yuan per person per month and for doctorate and senior advanced study students is 2000 Yuan per person per month. All the universities should pay the living expenses increased since Jan. 2008 to the scholarship students on receiving the notice The new scholarship students who entered university after Jan 1st , 2008 and study in China for a year are offered 1500 Yuan for their settlement on the first moth; and for those who studied less than a year are offered 1000 yuan for their settlement on the first month. The Ministry of Education transferred the 2007 to 2008 year’s annual living expense of scholarship students to all the universities on December 2007. All the university should carefully carry out the promotion and education work. The dramatic adjustment on scholarship students’ living expenses this time completely show China government’s caring about international students, we hope that the international students can cherish the precious chance and time, comply with school discipline, and study hard to become talents who know China, who have learned something and who are helpful to their own countries’ construction.
