Sept. 4th, 2013 year’s China-ASEAN Vocational Education Exhibition took place at Guangxi Science and Technology Museum, students from vocational schools in Guangxi showed their skills such as rectification, embroidery, textile, architecture, dancing and so on, and ASEAN’s showed ceramics, wood carving, and clay sculpture and so on teaching achievements.

China has been positively promoting the mutual vocational education exchange and cooperation since established exchange relationship with China-ASEAN. So far, China has established cooperation with 200 ASEAN schools, and established 4 vocational education center for ASEAN countries. Universities in Guangxi established 6 Confucius institutes in ASEAN countries. In Guangxi, there are 27 universities and colleges enroll international students for ASEAN countries, the number of student exchange between Guangxi and ASEAN countries reached up to 12 thousand, it is the most active province in China-ASEAN students exchange and joint talents education.

On this vocational education exhibition, 53 colleges and universities fully showed China-ASEAN vocational education’s innovation development and cooperation though several ways such as words, pictures, videos and so on. 56 universities and colleges in ASEAN and 60 China universities joined meeting, and some of them signed cooperation agreement. The content of vocational forum was extended further, which includes China-ASEAN vocational education cooperation, education achievements show, vocational school students’ talents show, education cooperation talks and so on, giving a resource-sharing platform for China-ASEAN universities’ high-quality teaching resources sharing and education cooperation.
