In order to make international students know more about Guangzhou, South China University of Technology held “Cultural Tour in Guangzhou” for international students for one day. In the morning, Students visited Lingnan Impression and experienced the custom and culture of Lingnan.

After that, they visited the Chen Clan Temple and appreciated the quaint old buildings. And all students was attracted by Superb construction techniques and Chinese craftsman’ feat. In the afternoon, students visited the Guangdong Provincial Museum, Huacheng Square and Haixinsa Asian Games Park. Students was impressed by the modern architecture in Guangzhou.

The trip ended in laughter and cheers. But students thought that it has not given full expression to their views. After the trip, students praised that Guangzhou not only had long history and culture, but also it had prosperous urban civilization. A student come from Laos said,“I have never been to China, and I don’t know that China develops really fast.”

The trip is really meaningful, which widen the students' horizen and let them close encounter Chinese culture. What's more, the trip built the platform for international students to communicate with each other and made them feel warm in the International Educaiton College.
