Few days ago, the 6th overseas student in China talent performance was held in Ningbo University. Over 200 international students from 17 universities gathered in Ningbo University, giving Poetry reading, dance, Wushu, drama and so those performace to show their talents and langauge learning results, explainig world international students’understanding of Zhejing non-material culture relics

The “Dreaming Zhejiang”is the annual culture exchange activity organized by Zhejiang province for overseas students, it was aimed at enriching overseans students’ campus life in Zhejing, promoting coomunication and increasing students’ understanding of Zhejiang. Since twelfth five-year plan was carried out, number of overseas students in Zhejiang increased rapidly, having breaking 10,000. The acitivy is held by universities in Hangzhou every year, this year ,it was held in Ningbo University,  this was the first time to be held outside of Hangzhou and stepped in to Ningbo, a city with over 7,000 years history. Ning Universtiy has students of different colors from 86 countries. In 2012, number of students in Ningbo broke history record with over 900, , becoming university that has most overseas students in Zhejiang.

  

Nie Qiuhua, president of Ningbo University said “the university sets up bachelor of teaching chinese as foreing language since in 2003, it one of China universities ahthorized by Ministry of Education to accept Overseas China Gvoernment Scholarship Students. the university has cultivated thousands of overseas students so far.”
