The 9th December, 2012. It’s the fourth day that Mo Yan spent in Sweden. It is also the fourth day’s expectation for teachers and students in Boland High School. The teachers and students, who were led by the principal, came to Stockholm Park theater, looking forward to the Nobel prize winner’s arrival. At 17:00 o’clok local time, the moderator led people to sing the theme song of "Red Sorghum" to welcome Mo Yan’s admission. A speech was given with a "special lesson" as the theme. Mo Yan’s humorous, and witty speech won a burst of applause. Some people said : “Mo Yan is a good storyteller”. After the lecture, many people commented that he is a writer who can make people touched. This has also got many people to begin to appreciate Mo Yan. Westerberg commented: " Mo Yan’s speech is totally different from the previous prize winners, his story really touched us. "After the lecture, 3 major cities in Sweden, 500 Swedish students of the Universities as well as many Chinese students watched the movie“ Red Sorghum ”adapted by Mo Yan’s works. A lot of people were affected and touched. One of the teachers in Boland High School said : "This is a real writer. Even though the film was brief but very plump and evocative. We are lucky to have witnessed Mo Yan in Sweden. This is an honor for our chinese. We were excited and be proud of being a Chinese.
