May 20th, 2012 saw the successful performance of the spring-term HSK test in Mongolia. It was the 15th HSK test and the largest and most influential ever organized by HSK Center at Mongolian State University of Education (MSUE). More than 800 candidates, from low-grade pupils to already-parent adults, took the test at all the six levels of the new Chinese Proficiency Test (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi in Chinese) in the three biggest cities in Mongolia, Ulan Bator, Erdenet and Darhan.
To create more opportunities for the candidates across the country to take the test, HSK Center at MSUE opened exam places in two other cities, Erdenet and Darhan, in addition to Ulan Bator this year, which was highly appreciated by the local candidates, especially those junior pupil examinees and their parents. All the exam staff did their best to serve the examinees and provide a comfortable and peaceful exam environment and the exams at the three cities went on smoothly and came to a satisfactory end.
HSK Center at MSUE was officially established in 2002. Since her establishment, the staff members have done very effort to publicize and organize the HSK test in Mongolia and there has been an number of examinees, from around 20 in the first round to over 800 this round. HSK Center at MSUE has played an indispensible role in the fast progress of Chinese language teaching and learning in Mongolia in recent years.
