The Sixth “Chinese Bridge” China language Competition Ended in Kunming in Nov.3. The Canada won the first prize of organization. America, Mongolia and Cambodia won the first prize of individual.

 

With the cheerful songs singing, all participants from five continents wearing their own countries’ dressing performed carefully prepared program.

In the sitcom, some participants spoke with a stream of witticism and used lots of catchword in Chinese. What’s more, some participants also sang Chinese pop music which won lots of applauses from audiences. In addition, some participants played Chinese instrumental music “Jasmine” and “The Butterfly Lovers”.

 

According to introduction, there are 62 countries and 124 participants joining the competition. It is the most participants compared to the number of people in previous years.

The Sixth Chinese Bridge China language contest was open in Kunming on Oct.24 which was held by the Office of Chinese Language Council International and Confucius Institute at China and the People's Government of Yunnan Province. The theme of the Chinese Bridge China language contest is “Study Chinese, and make friends from all over the world”.

The competition was divided into three parts: the test for Chinese Language Ability, the written and oral test for Chinese Culture, and the talent competition. It promotes the development of communication between China and other countries.
