With the warm applause, the summer project of 2012 of CITU has been successfully ended.
The 2012’s summer project of CITU consists of two classes, Chinese Martial arts class and primary Chinese class. Under the instructions of the outstanding martial arts instructor, who are from Guangxi University, the primary group, consisting of students and residents of Tallinn, learned five stances boxing and the youth long boxing routines, which lay a foundation for further practicing the martial arts. The advanced group, consisting of the members of Estonian Martial Arts Association have perfected and improved the long boxing, tiger punch, south fist boxing, spear gun and cudgel individually, better experiencing the essence of Chinese Martial Arts. All learners were looking forwards to participating the class again next year.
The primary Chinese class, which was regarded as ‘an international class’, had just ended a day before. The learners learned basic daily conversation, the structure of Chinese characters, sounds and writing. Among the 23 learners, who were from eight countries, some were university or middle school students and some were officials of non-governmental organizations. The Estonian language professor who has been teaching in Beijing Foreign Languages University came to attend the class by its reputation. She studied quite hard. By the end of the learning, the unique charm of Chinese language and the unforgettable learning Chinese experience made some learners decide to continue learning Chinese in the coming semester.
