From 12 to 14 December, Deputy vice Chancellor, Dr. Wilson N. M. Mwenya from University of Zambia, Vice President Chai Zhenguo of Hebei University of Economics & Business, and any other representatives attended the 6th Confucius Institute Conference and 2011 Joint Conference of Africa Confucius Institute.

The theme of the 6th Confucius Institute is the next decade, State Councilor of the People’s Republic of China and Chairperson of the Council of the Confucius Institute Headquarters Liu Yandong hosted the meeting and delivered an important address. The excellent Confucius Institute, prominent contributors and excellent individuals were awarded medals by Mr. Li Changchun of Political Bureau Standing Committee. Xu Lin, the State Department counselor, Director of Hanban, Director-General of Confucius Institute Headquarters, who made a development plan on the recommendations of the Confucius Institute.
