The London Confucius Institute for TCM was invited by the Wigan and Leigh College Confucius Classroom on Friday December 7th 2012 to deliver the Interactive Chinese Wellbeing Workshop.
The workshop aimed at providing students with a fundamental knowledge of what the Chinese Medicine and acupuncture are through the acupuncture demonstration, moxibustion, cupping and self-massage. Nearly 60 students from the Image Centre of Wigan and Leigh College and the Wigan Sixth Form School participated in the workshops.
Ms Vickie Round, International Coordinator from Wigan and Leigh College commented: “We’d like to express our thanks to London Confucius Institute for TCM. The students learned the art of acupuncture, cupping and self-massage. Dr. Jun She and Dr. Jian Chen’s demonstrations provided an excellent insight into traditional Chinese medicine. We look forward to welcoming you again to enhance further wellbeing experiences.”
