On the morning of November 9 (local time), Webster University Confucius Institute (WUCI thereafter) organized the “Study in China” seminar, hosted by Ms. Kim, director of international service center, with its focus on the cultural exchange and study in China programs of the students from Webster University (WU thereafter) and colleges in the community. This activity aims to further introduce the Chinese study program in WUCI and take a preliminary survey on potential learners and their intentions. At this seminar, the WU students John and Eric who once studied at Beijing Language and Culture University were invited to introduce their abroad experience. They gave an intuitive description on their study and life in China by using lots of pictures. Afterwards, Fang Li, the director of Chinese program in WUCI, gave the teachers and students a specific introduction on Chinese programs of WUCI, the “Study in China” program and Confucius Institute Scholarship.
All students and teachers enjoyed themselves in the relaxing and friendly atmosphere. During the seminar, there were Chinese programs , Chinese food introduction and taste, etc. The questions raised by students were answered promptly and effectively.
