Recently, Ministry of Education approved Wuhan University to found Duke Kunshan University through cooperation with Duke University, the Duke Kunshan University planned to open master programs in global health, medical physics and management, and it planned to enrolling students independently next autumn.
President of Wuhan University Li Xiaohong indicated that the university created a pioneer that comprehensive university of national “985 Project” cooperated with world top universities. it is the model that taking use of two countries’ high-quality teaching resource to explore Sino-foreign cooperative education.
President of Duke University said, “Duke Kunshan University will be a world-class education institute, which is helpful for opening global education mode. In this life-fill study paradise, students and teaching in Duke University will develop closer communication with increasingly important China. We look forward to students from worldwide coming to the new campus.”
It is reported that Duke Kunshan University will issued diploma of Duke University, the school also offers “term-based global bachelor programs study”, the current undergraduates home and abroad can learn multiple bachelor’s programs and get credits of Duke University.
