Driving License
An international driving license is not valid in China. You will need to change your international driving license into a local driving license. This is a rather simple procedure. First you will need to register and pay a fee. Then you will need to do a physical test, which basically is a eye test and you will need to show them both your hands. Finally you will be asked about the traffic regulations. This sometimes differs for different persons, but when you bring your interpreter (who has his or her driving license) you will be fine.

Health Examinations
In order to get your working permit, foreigners will need to do a health examination as soon as they have arrived in Wuhan. If you prefer you could also do some tests in your home country and bring the test results and their official reports. You will need a HIV test, chest x-ray and some blood test. Please note that the reports need to have an official stamp, as a stamp in China is more important then a signature.
