Diverse Cultures Gather to Kick Off a New Journey at OUC — ATCHINA Supports OUC’s School of International Education in Welcoming International Students

 

In the golden autumn, the School of International Education of Ocean University of China (OUC) welcomed a group of vibrant international students. They crossed mountains and seas to gather on the campus, injecting diverse vitality into OUC. On this day, a warm and lively orientation event was held in an orderly manner, marking the start of the international students’ new academic and life journey in China.

With the system support from ATCHINA, the School of International Education carefully prepared the orientation event in a "digital + humanized" mode in accordance with the new student registration process. The goal was to ensure every international student arriving from afar could start their new journey clearly and smoothly.

On the registration day, international students arrived at the campus one after another and began the registration process under the enthusiastic guidance of volunteers. The senior product executives from ATCHINA went to the orientation site to provide on-site assistance, guidance and service support. Relying on the data accumulated in the system in the early stage, the on-site team gave priority to conducting qualification review, reducing the trouble of repeatedly submitting materials. Then, under guidance, the new students filled in relevant information. Meanwhile, by using the system’s connection function, they quickly verified the information and completed processes such as registration and tuition payment. The smooth connection of processes was backed by the in-depth integration of the international student management system and the offline procedures of the school. This allowed information to "flow", replacing repeated manual verification and greatly improving efficiency. From the "barrier-free cross-border collection" of online application to the "efficient online-offline interaction" of offline registration, every step demonstrated the warmth empowered by technology. Every step, from material submission to the orderly advancement of each link, embodied the careful thoughts of ATCHINA and the school.
