Introduction of Economics and Management School

The Economics and Management School of Wuhan University has a long history which can be traced back to “Commerce Department” of Ziqiang Institute founded in 1893 by Zhang Zhidong, Governor General of Hunan and Guangdong, in late Qing Dynasty.

The school now has 338 teachers, including 99 professors (one senior professor and 66 supervisors of Ph.D. students), and100 associate professors. 70% of the full-time teachers have doctoral degrees and 68% of the teachers are under the age of 45
